Hello everyone.
At this point in my life, I am confused about what to do and what not to do. I am currently working as an Assistant HR Executive in a power plant. However, my qualification is in Engineering and not in MBA. I am interested in continuing in the HR field. My main responsibilities involve industrial matters such as labor licenses, workers' compensation policies, and dealing with subcontractors, among other things. I am also pursuing an MBA through distance learning. My plan is to gain two years of experience while completing my MBA, and then search for better opportunities with a more attractive package.
However, I am uncertain whether this path will shape my career correctly. I question if my thinking is practical, or if I should quit my job and opt for traditional courses. I am also curious about the effectiveness of distance learning compared to regular courses.
