How Do You Choose and Reward the "Man of the Month" in Your Company?

I am working in one of the reputed manufacturing sectors and am involved in the "Man of the Month" project. This activity is performed to recognize an employee for exemplary work.

Kindly provide me with some details on the process of selecting an employee to be awarded the "Man of the Month" for extraordinary work, as well as the types of awards that can be given.

To select the employee of the month you can ask for the recommendations from the HOD'sa of the particular departments, if there is any format of Monthly appraisals in your organization than work out on recommended names with appraisals.

Dear Kalyani,

It's an excellent idea to start a "Man of the Month" initiative. We have already implemented this in our organization for the past 3 months, called "STAR of the Month."

The parameters we use for evaluation are as follows:

By Team Leader:
1. Performance
2. Team Player
3. Initiative
4. Learner

By HR:
1. Behavior
2. Attitude
3. Appearance

Additionally, we also gather votes from all employees to determine who they believe should be recognized as the STAR.
