I'm experiencing a problem with the transfer of my Employee Provident Fund (EPF). The transfer from my previous employer to my current one via the Universal Account Number (UAN) portal was rejected. The message I received was 'Clarify EPS membership'.
Here's a quick rundown of my employment history:
Employment 1: I worked at a Trust account in Thane, Mumbai. I was employed there from 2015 to 2019. While the EPF claim has been completed, the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE) for the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) are still listed as 'Not Available'.
Employment 2: I joined a company in Chennai in 2020 and left in 2024. When I attempted to transfer my EPF, the process was rejected.
Employment 3: I'm currently employed in the same region as my previous job (Chennai) and have been here since 2024.
I'm seeking guidance on this rejection and how to successfully transfer my EPF to my current employer. I've attached the details of my service history for your reference.
