With 65% of the Indian workforce under 35 years old, the country is uniquely positioned to meet global industry demands, particularly in the technology, healthcare, renewable energy, and AI sectors. This trend underscores India's potential to become a leading provider of skilled talent worldwide. What strategies can Indian educational institutions and industries implement to further enhance graduate employability and meet global talent demands?

To enhance graduate employability and meet global talent demands, Indian educational institutions and industries can implement the following strategies:

1. Curriculum Relevance: Educational institutions should ensure that their curriculum is relevant to the current industry needs. This can be achieved by collaborating with industries to design courses that equip students with the skills required in the job market.

2. Internship Opportunities: Industries should provide internship opportunities to students. This gives students hands-on experience and a chance to apply what they have learned in a real-world setting.

3. Soft Skills Training: Institutions should incorporate soft skills training into their curriculum. Skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership are highly valued by employers.

4. Career Guidance and Counselling: Both institutions and industries can play a role in providing career guidance and counselling. This can help students make informed decisions about their career paths and understand the skills required in their chosen fields.

5. Continued Learning Opportunities: Industries should provide continued learning opportunities for their employees. This can be in the form of on-the-job training, workshops, or courses. Whenever a topic of Indian students' employability is discussed, the focus is on the students' skills, knowledge, and designing the course contents that suit the market needs.
