Certifications in Quality Management for HR Professionals

Certifications in the field of Quality Management are always useful for HR professionals. During meetings with operations or quality management professionals, knowledge of this subject will help you understand what they say. Additionally, in your department, this course will assist you in recruitment, employee training, career planning, payroll processing, etc.

Prerequisites for Six Sigma

However, knowledge of ISO standards and Total Quality Management (TQM) should precede taking a course in Six Sigma. Have you taken courses on these subjects? Secondly, though the concepts of Six Sigma are applicable to both the service and manufacturing sectors, they are prominently used in the former in India. Do you work in a manufacturing company?

Understanding Six Sigma

Taking a course on an overview of Six Sigma is fine; however, to gain deeper knowledge, one should be well-versed in mathematics and statistics. Are you good at these subjects?

By the way, "Lean" and "Six Sigma" are independent subjects. Both have distinct identities and cannot be clubbed together.

Though "Quality Management with Six Sigma" is already over, you can note their website and do the course whenever they release the ad for the future course. The other one, "Lean Six Sigma Green Belt," will be useful to you.
