Measuring KPIs for Seed Ball Plantation: How Do You Track Success in CSR Projects?

Hi Seniors, We have initiated seed ball plantation under a CSR initiative. As we have an audit requirement, I would like to measure the KPI for 1.5 lakh balls. Kindly help me in measuring the KPI.

It is difficult to measure the effectiveness of CSR activities. There is a difference between handling social matters and business matters. Business concepts cannot be extended to social activities.

Measuring Seed Ball Plantations

As far as seed ball plantations are concerned, the following can be measured:

a) Cost of development of the 100 (or 1,000) seed balls - target vs. actual
b) Time allocated for the development of 100 (or 1,000) seed balls - target vs. actual
c) The number of seeds germinated - target vs. actual
