I am currently working with an organization and serving my notice period. Just before the date of exit from my previous company, I joined another company without being aware of dual employment or service overlapping. On the second day of induction, I learned about this term (service overlapping) and informed my supervisor and HR that I wasn't aware of this situation. I joined your company just six days before my current company's exit date.
Then, on the third day, they informed me to resign because it's a dual employment case, and the only way to prevent this is by resigning. So, I resigned. I also requested them not to link their company with my UAN as it would show service overlapping. However, I am still concerned about whether they will link their company with my UAN number. Even though I won't receive any pay for those two days, I am still very concerned about this matter!
