I am an ex-banker. I took a promotion to officer in 2015. After the promotion, the bank continued to pay clerical wages despite my repeated requests. In June 2017, the bank was suspended, and I was dismissed in October 2018. A criminal case was filed for misappropriation of amount xxx in September 2017. The amount xxx was recovered in June 2017 from the staff account.

In 2020, the bank placed a hold on my savings account, stating that the amount xxx has not been recovered yet. I have informed the bank that the amount has been recovered and provided statements, but the bank has not responded to my letters.
I am seeking suggestions on how the hold on the account can be removed. Also, any suggestions on how to address the difference in pay would be appreciated.
