ID card for employees/Managers working in manufacturing company

Is ID card for Staff & Managers mandatory as per factories act in India? Is there any prescribed format for it??

As per the madras high court, It is mandatory for all government employees as well as those working for local bodies and other government instrumentalities to wear identity card during working hours.

Name of ID holder

purpose (employee/visitor/temporary)

Designation

Contact details of ID holder (Address & Contact No)

As per Factory Act, the Manager of every factory shall issue photo identity card to each worker employed as per Form No.25C.
