Need Help Crafting a Speech for Presenting Gifts to Colleagues – Any Tips?

My boss asked me to prepare a speech regarding the presentation of gifts to some of my colleagues and send it to her. Please, someone help me.

Hi, Speech for what occasion? Is it a send-off party for your colleague? I, as an individual, don't mind providing you with a draft. However, you might get stuck during the course of the speech if you try to memorize and present it by heart.

For a send-off speech
Generally, we need to recall the contributions of the employee during his/her stint with the company, accomplishments, how they are unique from other employees, etc.

So why don't you prepare a speech and present it here so that we can improvise the same? Once you prepare it on your own, it will be easier for you to present. Also, if you are delivering for the first time, you should be confident because, for many, public speaking is scary.

For a 'Send-off' purpose, it is suggested that you issue a letter to be signed by your Chief. You need to mention that you are cherishing his/her service with the company and highlight some of his/her major achievements during their time with the company.

If you plan to organize a function for this, you can hand over this letter with a memento and/or wrap him/her in a good shawl. Make sure to seat him/her comfortably on the dais and then proceed by addressing a few words about the outgoing employee.
