This is Chen here. I would like to know if someone could help me get to know more about Indian HR policies in trade or manufacturing companies. For example, employee handbooks, leave, bonus regulations.

The HR policies of a manufacturing company are partially governed by the law in force, i.e., Factories Act which regulates conditions of employment, health, safety, and welfare of employees. This includes the Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefits Act, ESI Act, EPF & MP Act, etc., and partially by policies of the respective company which will certainly be influenced by the attitude of the employer/managing committee.

Therefore, I am unable to start the discussion without knowing from which point we should start. Can you please initiate it from the point from which you would like to know the things?
