Dear All, How many Leaves can we provide to Employees in Shops and establishment act. Which type of leaves can we provide

Shops and Establishment Act is a state Act & hence you are to go through your applicable S&E Act to find out the details on various types of leaves.

Hello,
You have to follow applicable state act. (Because it may slightly differ from state to state).
You can provide-
Earn Leave(EL)
Casual Leave(CL)
Sick Leave (SL)
Compensatory Off (Comp-off)
Maternity Leave (ML) (As per-maternity benefit act)
#You can also implement a policy on- First & Third and Second & fourth Saturdays off (For Staff level).

Can we get a complete leave entitlement as per the shops and establishment act , casual leave, Sick leave and PL /AL for an employees joined on 01st April 2023. Whereas, his probation period is 06 months and no leave has been entitled for him during this period.
