Payroll processing - Can anyone plz tell me what things I have to do?

I am going to join a co. in HR . They have asked me to look after end-to-end recruitment and payroll processing. Can anyone plz tell me what things I have to do? I am new to payroll.

Number of total employees (what's the salary structure of Employees)

Salary/Payroll Processing in the Part of Statutory compliances and deductions as per the Attendance/Net Days payable.
