Dear Praveen Neginhal, To develop the MIS for the company, one needs to know the systems and processes of the company. However, we, the members of this forum, are outsiders and we do not know the dynamics of your company.
Nevertheless, I can suggest you study the inflow and outflow of information and start generating the records. Secondly, you may identify the costs and ratios associated with the business and check what information is needed to measure them.
Lastly, categorize the customers and identify which MIS needs to be developed.
The essence of MIS lies in the implications of the work in the future. If you maintain this essence, then it will suffice the purpose.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
