Employee Resignation Timing: Should Salary Be Calculated Through Saturday or Sunday?

If the employee resigned on Monday, can we calculate the salary up to Saturday or Sunday?

It's better to be graceful than to be miserly. The calculation should include up to Sunday, and if the employee attended the office on Monday, that day should be included as well.

Dear Raju Mohite, Your query is a little baffling. Generally, most companies expect an employee to serve the notice period. Therefore, they become eligible to receive the salary until their last working day. However, employees stopping work the moment they submit the resignation letter is unheard of. Weekly Day Off Eligibility Lastly, after working for six days, the employee becomes eligible to have a weekly day off on the seventh day. This weekly day off is paid. Therefore, the eligibility to receive wages on the seventh day remains intact, whether the resignation is submitted on Monday or not.
