Notice Period Dilemma: What Happens if an Employee Skips the Payment?

Dear Expert, can the employer ask for a notice recovery once the FNF settlement sheet is shared? Also, I would like to understand what consequences or repercussions can occur if the notice period amount is not paid by the employee?

Attached is from the employer's side. My query is from the employer: if they have already accepted the employee's resignation and released them, how come this settlement is 8 months post-resignation? Their computer FnF sheet never had any such recovery clause or section.
