What consequences/recursion can happen if the notice period amount is not paid for employee?

Dear Expert, Can the employer ask for a Notice recovery once the FNF settlement sheet is shared? Also to understand. what consequences/recursion can happen if the notice period amount is not paid for the employee?

Attached is from employer side. my query is from employer. if they have already excepted employee resignation and released. how come it this settlement is 8 months post resignation. there computer FnF sheet never had any such recovery clause / section
