Can anybody provide a sample confidential statement for employees, please?

Dear Sanjfer,

Please give a little more information on the need for obtaining a "Confidential Statement". What is the purpose, the designation of the employee, the duties handled by the employee, will it be a one-off case or will it be a standing requirement and so on.

Not sure of your industry type , purpose etc.. Please refer general confidentiality statement

During your service period with us, you will observe secrecy and confidentiality and will not divulge, disclose or make known to any person/third party no will you unauthorisedly use any knowledge or information in respect of manufacturing , technical trade secrets or business data ( including manufacturing process, technical know-how, customer information) which are necessarily confidential and have come to your knowledge during the course of employment with the company and you shall not copy or transmit the same unauthorisedly nor will you grant permission to assist. Even after the expiry of the employment you will not use,divulge, disclose or remove in any manner whatsover confidential information obtained by you during the course of employment with the Company .


You may edit as per requirement and nature of business of the company.

Confidential statement means that statement/contract which make in between employee and employer without violation of moral right and natural justice etc.

Confidential statement, is NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) which is to be executed by the selected candidate to the Company at the time of his/her joining, along with Signing and returning back the copy of Employment Contract.

Thank you, guys! Actually, I started working in a Hotel and setting up HR functions. This confidential statement I need to give new arrivals. Suggest to me if I should add the confidential statement in the offer of employment or a separate sheet.

And also, can you help me create SOP for the Hotel? It is a 4-star hotel.
