Dear team, I have served a 7-day notice period, but the previous employer has stated that I must serve a complete 1-month notice period because I was on a 3-month probation period. They have now sent me a legal notice to compensate for the gross salary of 21,000. However, I have not provided the details of my previous employer to my current employer. I am concerned about any potential issues that may arise and how to respond to the previous employer as I am unable to serve a 1-month notice period or pay the 21,000 gross salary. I am worried about the impact this situation may have on my career, especially regarding PF contributions, as my exit has been marked. If my current employer inquires about the legal notice, I have not shared my previous employer's details with them. I am seeking advice on how to handle this situation promptly as the previous employer is pressuring me through calls and mental harassment, demanding the payment or serving of the 1-month notice period. Please assist me as soon as possible.
Thank you.
