Remuneration Structure Considerations
Remuneration structure should not solely reflect the best perception of either the employer or the employee. It should be scientific, considering several factors such as the PF contribution policy of the organization—whether on the total PF gross or restricted up to ₹15,000 per month. It should also include different monthly and annualized components like HRA, CCA, CEA, SPL Allowance, etc., on a monthly basis, and annualized components like LTA, profit-sharing incentive/bonus, statutory bonus if eligible, furnishing allowance, car policy, etc. Moreover, there may be insurances like Mediclaim, GPA, Group LIC, etc.
Every organization has its own policy for remuneration structure, considering both internal and external parity. Without this, there could be significant dissatisfaction among employees.
