Hi, Thanks for sharing the clarity. How will the period of 80 days be calculated? Is it 80 working days on which women actually came to the office (excluding Sat-Sun and holidays)? Please advise.

Dear Citehr Member Ms. Parul, Greetings and good wishes of the day. The MB Act 1961 prescribes 80 days of continuous working, including Saturdays, Sundays, and other holidays.

Hi Sir, Thanks for the clarity. Can you please share how much amount we need to pay as an employer on the Medical Bonus under the maternity benefit? I see many internet links with amounts like Rs. 250/-, Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 3500/-. Also, please share the link to the gazette notification for such an amount. Awaiting your response on this.

Thanks
