Facing Delays in PF and Pension After Resigning: How Should I Handle This?

I was working at Reliance, and they asked me to resign from my job while I was with my mother in the hospital. Now, three months after leaving the job, they are not providing me with the PF or pension amount.

Is your organization (Reliance) an exempted organization that is allowed to keep its own PF accounts? If not, then you have to apply for the withdrawal of PF through your member portal. The employer has nothing to do with it other than marking your exit from the EPF.

Eligibility for Pension and PF Withdrawal
How long did you remain in service? Did you serve for 10 years? Did you cross the age of retirement, i.e., 58 years? If yes, you can apply for a pension through your member portal. Before that, please ensure that you have completed the e-nomination, which is again an activity that you, as the member, have to do by yourself.

Please confirm.

Hi, Please check your UAN Portal login to see if DOL is marked by your employer. If so, you can apply for PF online. Once you apply online, the application needs to be approved by the employer (online approval), followed by further processing for payment by the PF office. As Mr. Madhu rightly advised, please verify whether your employer has a PF Trust or if PF contributions are remitted to the PF office.
