Understanding Leave Rules: Can Employers Deduct Unused Privilege Leaves Annually?

Dear Team, please help me understand the leave rules regarding carrying forward mandates and registration under the Karnataka Shops & Establishments Act. Can the employer deduct 7.5 privilege/earned leaves every year if the employee does not consume leaves?
