Context of Your Query

What is the context of your query? Are you an HR professional, and if so, will you be conducting the interview for the Business Developer role? Has the Job Description been prepared for this position? If yes, then is it not sufficient to understand the role and functions of the business developer?

Eligibility to Conduct a Job Interview

Who is eligible to conduct a job interview? Only an expert is eligible. Therefore, the situation merits self-assessment, and one should ask the question, am I sufficiently competent to assess the suitability of a job candidate? While an ignorant interviewer can conduct a job interview, the cost of hiring the wrong candidate could be far higher due to customer dissatisfaction or other operational issues.
