IT candidates backing off just before joining - any way to avoid this?

Hi, As an IT recruiter, the issue I face is candidates backing off just before the date of joining. I am sure, I won't be the only one facing this. Can anyone suggest any way to avoid this?

Getting the right person for the right job has always been a challenge. As an IT recruiter, if the selected candidates don't turn up that means such candidates would have got better offer that they chose the better option. So, analyse where your client is lacking in providing attractive offer. Now a days many IT recruiters are opting for campus placement, so you can also try it and get raw but talented hands.
