Hi Everyone, I work as an HR professional with an IT company and I wanted to know if HR should send a pre-birthday wishes email to an employee who is having a birthday on the weekend. Please suggest.

You could send a personalized email on that day or schedule it to happen one day before, or send a belated one on the next working day. If you have any HR self-service portal, set up these reminders there. The system, based on the date of birth recorded in the system, will take care of sending SMS or emails.
