How to Handle MNC Background Check Issues When Your Previous Company Can't Be Verified?

I worked in a small start-up company earlier. Now, I am placed in an MNC. The background verification in the MNC says, "company was not found at the registered address, hence existence was not proved." However, I used to visit that registered address for full-time work. Also, all the details are available on the MCA website. The MNC asked for a certificate of incorporation and GST of the start-up company, and I provided it.

Somehow, their background verifying agent is unable to locate it. I've shared the contact details of the small company, but the MNC HR is reluctant to contact them and have it verified. What should I do since I am confident in the address existence of the start-up company? Should I approach the police station for the address verification of the start-up company and submit it to the MNC?

Establishing the Existence of a Start-Up Company

You can establish the existence of the start-up company by providing their website link, sharing recent communications you have had with them, or sending a trade inquiry that they would typically acknowledge. You can also attach any relevant documentation. Alternatively, if the company is located nearby, you can film the premises and share the video.

The police are unable to confirm the existence of any organization; however, the local Post Office can provide certification. Furthermore, having a post box number is a crucial indicator of legitimacy.
