Can Interns in Shops and Establishments Be Paid Through a Bank? Seeking Clarity

Dear Team, I have a query: if the organization comes under shops and establishments, can internship candidates get paid through a bank?

Dear HRD-VK-Jewel, it may be noted that "stipend" is paid to the apprentices under the provisions of "The Apprentices Act, 1961". If you employ an "intern", then you will have to pay an "internship allowance". It is advisable to pay all the payments through cheque or online fund transfer. The cost head for the payment of internship allowance will be "Employee Cost".

The stipend can be paid either by cash or through the bank. Payment through the bank is easy and best for the organization.
