I was working in X Company, then I resigned and was serving the notice period for 30 days. My last working day was on 28th Feb. During the notice period, I received two job offers. Y Company processed my joining without requiring a resignation letter or experience letter. I admit I made some mistakes, but I was dealing with personal issues at that time, which caused me to overlook these things. I received an appointment letter for the joining date of 10th Feb, but I declined the offer.
Subsequently, I joined Z Company on 1st March. The issue arose when Y Company created a PF account with the joining and exit dates as 10th Feb. I only became aware of this today when I received a message about the PF amount transfer from X to Y. I have not received any salary from Y Company and haven't worked a single day there.
I have not obtained the resignation letter from X Company yet. Could this potentially lead to double employment issues? How should I address this situation? I am feeling very anxious about it.
