Dear Josephine,
The situation can be summed up as below.
The candidate applies for the position for the HR Scheduler and gets selected also. However, in the entire selection process, neither the interviewer shares the Job Description (JD) of the position nor the candidate asks for it. Now the selected candidate comes on the public forum and asks for the roles and responsibilities!
Those who selected the candidate for the position of "HR Scheduler" also expected to be from HR. Their method of selection is just perplexing.
The situation is akin to putting the cart before the horse. For putting a cart before the horse, why HR will be valued?
The only option you have is to go back to the selectors and clarify your duties and responsibilities. The members of this forum are outsiders and cannot stretch our imagination!
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
