Security Deposit deduction - how should we deduct the salary of that unpaid leave?

Please clear the doubt. I will explain with an example.
Employee A has 25,000 monthly salary, but the company deducts 3000 per month as a security deposit. A has taken 3 unpaid days of leave in a month, how should we deduct the salary of that unpaid leave? Should it be deducted from 25,000 or 22,000? How to calculate?

Obviously, you need to deduct from 25000.00
(calculation - 25000/30 x 3 comes out to Rs.2500.00)
