Administration policies for a courier company - handbook with all necessary pre-requisites to be followed?

Hi, I have been recently assigned as Administration Manager in a Courier and Logistic Concern. Management wants to frame a Policy, sort of a handbook with all necessary pre-requisites to be followed. Can you please help me frame a document on the same.

Pl.tell more about your firm- the status of entity, size of manpower, area of activities, are you in supply chain domain or only logistics (transportation). States in which operating and so on.

Its a Private Limited concern
100 plus ( Direct and contract staffs)
We are only into transportation ( movement of Goods )
We are having PAN INDIA presence . our office is located in Kerala Region.

I have worked for a very famous courier company. Based on the experience, I can say that preparation of the operations manual has to be customised. Therefore, one has to study the operations of your company throughly and then only operations manual can be prepared.
Your operations manual will also depend on what kind of ERP that you use.

our operational manual is inhouse with local software ( Project 9) which is based on visual basic.
