Can Our Paid Holiday Contract Be Changed Without Including PF? Seeking Legal Insights in India

We are a private third-party firm. The main party is planning to change a contract policy regarding our 13 paid holidays. They calculated the paid holiday amount without including the PF amount. However, we also provide PF/ESI on paid holidays for employees. Is there any Government Act in India or West Bengal that allows for changes to our agreement?

Statutory Obligations for PF/ESI on Holidays

Statutorily speaking, what you are practicing currently is very good. PF/ESI shall be applicable for wages/salary earned by an employee on National/Festival holidays and weekly-off days.
