Hi Everyone, I need your help regarding salary breakup. Ours is a soft drinks manufacturing company registered under the Factory Act. We all receive salaries and pay slips with breakups like Basic + DA 60%, HRA 20%, and UA 20%.

Understanding Salary Breakup Benefits

Now, my doubt is how can an employer benefit if we provide salary breakups according to the rules of the Factory Act and Minimum Wages Act.

Example Salary Breakdown

For example:
Gross Salary = Rs. 30,700/-
Basic + DA = Rs. 18,420/-
HRA = Rs. 6,140/-
UA = Rs. 6,140/-

Can anyone help me understand how to break down the above salary with the correct components? Please clarify. Thanks in advance.
