Dear Sir,
Organization Policy and procedures play an important role in any organization.
Me being a HR & Compliance man wants to say that it is the Policies and Procedures which saves our company in any moment.
Many Policies like Health & Safety Policy, C-TPAT Policy, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy( as per Vishaka guidelines), Overtime Policy, etc.
For Ex: If a driver enters the Factory Premises and the Security asks for the driving license or Photo identity.
On what basis does the security or the company can justify this if a driver goes in a wrong path of resisting to show?
Here the Policy on Driver which describes all the actions mentioned above protects us.
This is just a small example and we can quote many related to other policies and procedures.
Without having Policies and Prodcedures it is difficult to justify any act in the organization.
Hope this is quite useful.
Truly Yours,

Im my organisation, employees are not adhering to any policy and procedures.
In this connection, i would like to give them a training programme on the importance / need for adhering the policies and procedures.
Even though, i have a little material available with me, i would like to add more cases, examples about how big organisation working are systematically organisated in order to convince / stress the importance.
Therefore, if i get more points / informaiton/ examples, it will be helpful
Regards
Suresh
