Dear Sir,

Organization policies and procedures play an important role in any organization. As an HR and compliance professional, I want to emphasize that it is the policies and procedures that save our company in any moment. Many policies, such as the Health & Safety Policy, C-TPAT Policy, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy (as per Vishaka guidelines), Overtime Policy, etc., are crucial.

For example, if a driver enters the factory premises and the security asks for the driver's license or photo identity, the security or the company can justify this based on the Policy on Driver, which outlines all the necessary actions. This policy protects us in situations where a driver may resist showing their identification.

This is just a small example, and there are many other policies and procedures we can refer to in various situations. Without having policies and procedures in place, it becomes challenging to justify any actions within the organization.

In my organization, employees are not adhering to any policies and procedures. In this connection, I would like to give them a training program on the importance and need for adhering to policies and procedures. Even though I have a little material available, I would like to add more cases and examples of how big organizations work systematically to convince and stress the importance. Therefore, if I could get more points, information, or examples, it would be helpful.
