Labour Licence Renew (CLRA) for project in Bihar - How to renew it or do I need to apply again?

Dear Senior members, I have applied CLRA (labour licence) for project in Bihar on registration.sharamsuvidha.gov.in , now the certificate is about to expire. How to renew it or do I need to apply again? Kindly help

Under CLRA Act we do not find any provision on renewal of Registration Certificate. In your case you can apply for amendment in RC.

So Is there would be any fine on previous labour licence after i get my new CLRA labour license.

We do not find any reason for imposition of fine. You should have valid RC.

On Shram Suvidha portal there is no provision for renewal of licence online. You need to apply for renewal of licence in Form II manually by enclosing original licence and with a Demand Draft of renewal fee. Application for renewal has to be submitted one month before the date of expiry of licence to the concerned Licening officer of Central Govt from whom you have obtained licence.

If earlier licence is expired and new licence is taken, the licencing officer may forfeit some amount from your security deposit of expired licence when you will apply for refund of security deposit of expired licence.
