What Law or any citation says whether to deduct or not deduct ESI & EPF contribution upon monthly subsistence allowance during Suspension period. Plz clerify.

There are multiple interpretations. The employee will not work during suspension period and he/she is eligible for subsistence allowance and there is no salary paid and there is no scope for statutory deduction.
