Dear Sandy Ghotra,
You have prepared a PPT to motivate the employees. But then is there any research that shows that PPTs motivate employees?
Employee motivation is too complex and it depends on several factors. One of the factors could be going through the PPT. But then what about other factors?
This subject of motivation comes up for discussion again and again. This only goes on to show how this subject is complex and important too. Earlier I have given exhaustive reply on employee motivation depends on what factors. You may click the following link:

In addition to this, the motivation of employees also depends on "
culture of interdependence and cooperation"
In India, there are a good number of forwarding masters in India who ensure that loads are messages are sent through WA to promote "positivity" or something similar. But then do people read these messages? Is there research available on such things?
My objective is not to demotivate you by raising hard questions. However, you may conduct a survey on employee motivation to understand to what extent they are motivated or demotivated. You may also try to find out the root cause of the demotivation. Without this exercise, the transmission of PPT could become a futile exercise.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
