Applied for vacancy in public sector bank and didn't mention my present employment experience in Pvt sector

AS Tanwar
Dear All, I had applied for vacancy in public sector bank and while applying for it I didn't mention my present employment experience in Pvt sector where I was working for last 3 years. I showed that I'm practicing on my own as I'm from legal field and didn't disclose my working in Pvt sector. Now that I have been asked to join the bank, there are some documents which I'm supposed to fill. By filling these documents all the joining formalities will be done. There are few columns in these documents in which a candidate has to mention if he has worked anywhere before, the time period of work and designation held. In my Pvt comp I had my PF account and UAN. And now if I don't mention about my previous employer, then I'm afraid they will get to know about it anyhow through UAN by my PAN Card. Should I mention about my previous employer (Pvt. Comp) in that form or not? Will it be a subject of any dispute if I don't mention about my working in Pvt company? Kindly help
