Hi, my employer (a reputed company) has asked me to look for a job somewhere else after they did not confirm me following a 6-month probation period. They have also taken away all computer network and other accesses. Additionally, they are stating that until I serve the notice period, they will assign any other work that management deems suitable for me in the department. They mentioned that I could give my resignation, serve a three-month notice period, and leave the next day once I find another job.
Rights of Employers During Notice Period
Does any company have the right to revoke computer network and other accesses and assign different work to its employees during the notice period? Furthermore, when they mention providing alternative work that the company deems suitable, could this be considered degrading or defaming employees? What rights do employees have in such situations?
