I was working with a real estate company in Pune for 10 months as a CRM manager. I was asked to either accept a salary deduction due to company crises or resign without a notice period. I was informed that I would be paid my salary up to the date of resignation, so I chose to resign as I could not manage with a salary reduction from 18k to 13k. I was instructed to submit my resignation on a plain A4 size paper, which I did, and handed it over to my manager. However, the previous company is now refusing to pay the remaining salary, citing false reasons such as lost assets. Please help me with this issue.

Currently, we have 3 to 4 projects ongoing, and my role there was as a CRM executive. I have an outstanding payment pending for the last 15 days. However, the issues I am facing are likely to affect other executives as well. I am looking to disentangle myself from this situation. I have not received any formal documentation or payslips from the employer so far. But, I recently obtained an official email confirming my employment and responsibilities. Non-payment of salary is an offense on the part of the employer. In the circumstances, to begin with, send a registered notice to the responsible officer, your HR Manager, asking them to settle your arrears within 15 days. You may decide on taking further action if they do not settle within 15 days. Yours is not a suitable case to pursue legally due to the legal expenses involved. Perhaps, if you have organized a union and obtained due recognition for it, that would help safeguard service-related issues for your colleagues. Document every development in writing, maintaining records concerning service matters.

Do you have the letter copy you had given to your manager, i.e., the acceptance letter of your resignation? Could you please summarize what you had written in that letter and also provide information about your FnF (Full and Final settlement) details?
