Hi All, I want to understand the legal working hours for an employee in a service-based industry in Gurgaon (Analytics Company). Nothing of the sort like work hours is defined in the offer letters; it just mentions about 45 hours a week. Also, if we are made to work 13 or 14 hours a day (we were told it happens once a month or a year, but in reality, it happens almost daily), we aren't paid a single penny for overtime working hours, but the company is ready to deduct the money in case of a shortfall from 45.
