Are Central Government Employees Exempt from LWF Contributions? Seeking Clarification

Dear Seniors,

I have the following queries:

1. Are employees working in Central Government institutions covered under LWF contribution?
2. Are employees receiving wages under Central MW covered under LWF contribution?

If they are exempted, where can I find the source for this?

Dear Member,

Up till now, we have not come across any central enactment relating to Labour Welfare Fund Contribution. This is a state Act, and most of the states have enacted their State Labour Welfare Fund Act for the welfare of the working class.
