Having around 15 years of experience in HR Generalist profile in Manufacturing Industries, I would like to start my own Home-Based Recruitment Agency for Manufacturing Industries from Surat, Gujarat. Can you please provide your advice/suggestions on the following:

1. What is the future of recruitment agencies?
2. What is the period of Return on Investment (RoI)?
3. What are the challenges in a recruitment agency and how to deal with them?

I understand that presently there is stiff competition in the recruitment industry, as there are several freelance or individual recruiters in the market. The success depends on networking with companies and respective HR departments. I understand you want to know the breakeven point. The breakeven (the point where you start earning profit) is unpredictable, as it depends on your contacts, your data bank, your skills, and the successful placement of the candidate, followed by the candidate staying with the company for a minimum of 3-6 months. Thus, success is dependent on many other parameters over which you don't have control. Wish you good luck.
