Epf rules on college student taking up a job as accounts assistant on part time basis?

A college student is taking up a job as accounts assistant on part time basis. He is doing his job from 5 pm to 8 pm on regular basis.
The company is covered under EPF and the owner is interested to pay his EPF. His part time salary is Rs.8000/- per month in odisha.
