Thank you.
Can there be any other situation other than age limit?

Dear All,
The EPF Threshold limit is Rs.15,000/- and ESI Threshold limit is Rs.21000/-
if any person having less than Rs.15,000/- they should have to cover in both Acts.
if any person having more than Rs. 15,000/- and less Than Rs.21,000/- wages 0r more Than Rs.21000/-
1. if the person is first employment is covers only for ESI
2. If the person is already member in EPF he should cover both Acts, ( ceiling for EPF is Rs.15,000/-)
3. if the person is drawing more than Rs.21000/- he will covered in EPF, as per point No.2 and ESI aslo covered till end of the contribution period.
4. There is no age bar for coverage of EPF. Age bar for only pension fund. you can continue EPF contribution for superannuation person in EPF
