How Can I Get an Experience Certificate That Reflects My Work in Two Departments?

banglar-mukhos
I have been working with an organization for the last three years. I joined and worked for the IT department until February 2018. After that, our management transferred me to another department. I was not interested in joining the new department, but due to financial issues, I couldn't quit the job. So, I worked in the new department until July. Now, I have obtained a new job in IT, but my current organization will mention my present department's name on my experience certificate, which could create a problem. Therefore, I need the experience certificate to mention both departments. Could someone please provide me with a sample experience certificate that mentions two different departments?

When the service-cum-employment certificate is issued, generally the department in which the employee has worked is not mentioned. Such a certificate typically includes details such as the date of joining, designation at the time of joining, dates of promotion(s) along with corresponding designations, the last working day, and the reason for leaving. Have you checked the certificate issued by your company in the past? Your concerns may be unfounded.

A service-cum-employment certificate is an endorsement by the company of the employer-employee relationship, or rather, the company-employee relationship. The department is just a subset of the company. Therefore, it would be incorrect to specify the department.
