One of my friends worked in the HR Department and gained 10 years of experience in HR. Recently, he resigned from his current organization and joined a new organization (completed two months of service). The problem is that he interviewed for an HR position, but he received the offer letter mentioning Assistant Manager without any department name. My friend joined without confirming his roles and responsibilities. Now, he has been assigned operational work that is not related to his profile, and he is not interested. Despite asking his reporting manager multiple times to change his role to align with his profile, the manager is not listening and responds sarcastically.

Please suggest, should I advise him to continue for a few more months or leave the organization and search for a job that matches his profile, considering he is receiving calls for HR positions.

Anyway, if he is receiving calls for working in the HR Department, he may consider choosing a new job in HR.
