The problem is that he interviewed for an HR position, but he received the offer letter mentioning Assistant Manager without any department name. My friend joined without confirming his roles and responsibilities. Now, he has been assigned operational work that is not related to his profile, and he is not interested. Despite asking his reporting manager multiple times to change his role to align with his profile, the manager is not listening and responds sarcastically.
