How Do I Register EPF and ESI for a Growing Pvt Ltd Company Without Delays?

I am Sangeetha. I have joined a Pvt Ltd company in Chennai. They have branches in Kerala, Chennai, and Andhra Pradesh (Retail Stores). Currently, this company has reached 28 employees in the past two months. Now, I have to register PF and ESI for this company.

Please guide me on how to process and obtain EPF and ESI Numbers. Could you share with me the process and procedures, or alternatively, suggest if I should seek help through consultancy services? The management does not want to incur additional backlogs.

Now the coverage is made easy through the respective E-Portal. Once you have 20 or more employees in a month, you need to pay the management contributions and the employee contributions as a new company. In return, you will receive a permanent registration number.

But they started the company in 2012. My doubt is whether we have to pay ESI when they have more than 10 employees. For example, if they surpassed 10 employees in 2014, do we have to pay for all the employees, including those who have resigned up to now?
