Drafting a CEO Appointment Letter: Should Compensation Details Be Separate?

Hello friends,

I am currently drafting an appointment letter for the CEO of our new company. I would like to know, as per the latest trends regarding compensation and benefit details, would it be a good idea to continue in the same letter or rather have the breakup structure in a separate annexure?

Is there anything else, in particular, to consider while drafting this appointment letter? Expert views are welcome and appreciated.
